Mobile Incident is an intelligent wireless mobile application that helps government and commercial organizations rapidly and effectively coordinate an emergency response to an incident. Mobile Incident provides incident commanders, first responders, and officials with a real-time wireless mobile application for communicating with each other, monitoring the situation, and controlling the response. Mobile Incident improves the speed, integration, and flexibility of a multi-agency incident management team by providing the following capabilities:

• Incident Alert - Dispatches an incident alert to essential personnel through cellular phones and email with specific directions and the ability to acknowledge the alert.
   
• Mobile Command and Control - Provides incident commanders with the ability to assign resources to tasks and receive acknowledgements and ETAs from agencies and individual first responders.
   
• Mobile Situation Understanding - Provides incident commanders and officials with a real-time common operating picture of the extent of the incident and the state of the response.
   
• Mobile Responder – Provides first responders with the ability to communicate with others to receive assignments and update their status, to view the current situation through the common operating picture, to automatically capture and share their GPS coordinates with others, and to capture and transmit digital images and video to incident commanders.
